You may have seen the Thrill Seeking…From the Internet blog post about social media and it’s effects on skiing. Candide Thovex’s One of Those Days Part 2 video is on there.

With the amazingness of Part 2 being blasted over our timeline, we seem to have forgotten about Part 1, the original, one year old video from the 32 year old professional skier, and how good it is. At the time of writing, Part 2 had over five times more views than Part 1 at 12.5million and it was uploaded only two weeks ago.

Part 2 went viral outside of the ski community; if people weren’t sure who Candide was, Part 2 secured his name in their memory.

But let’s forget about Part 2 for a minute and watch Candide in his  first video, shot on home turf on Val Blanc, the French Alps.
