Misak founded the Centre for Armenian Information and Advice (CAIA) &#8211; a charity offering support for the UK diaspora. Misak&#8217;s grandfather\u00a0escaped the 1915 massacres and fled to Cyprus where he was born.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->Then in the 1960&#8217;s after fighting broke out between Cypriots\u00a0and Turkish-Cypriots, they escaped\u00a0to London where he set up the CAIA.
